Art is Hard TX got to catch Dilly Dally at Hole in the Wall during SXSW. Truth is, catching them was one of the main, if not the only thing I told myself I had to do during south by.
Their set was good, more then good in fact
and the way they sounded live really made my liking for this band even greater then what it was. One of the highs for me during their set was their cover of Drake's Know Yourself.

I knew both songs, liked both songs but had no idea they were actually performing this song live at their shows.
I just loved it, the crowd loved it and it filled the room with such an electrical charge you walked away buzzing after they stopped playing.
Covers are so weird to me, some I love and some are just so horrible I don't know why they were even made.
But when artist cover other artist well and do it right you get a whole new perspective of the song.
Like when PRINCE covered RADIOHEAD'S CREEP it threw me in loops for weeks. My brain computes it as something it's already heard before but my emotions, my feelings are jumping up and down telling me this is something new and amazing.
