Let's talk about Above and Beyond for a minute here. This trio hails from the UK and has been making waves for years. When their tour comes near you, buy your ticket then and there. They have been known to sell out, and for good reason. As a predominate player in the global dance music scene, their label, Anjunabeats, has produced over 20 albums from various artists. Above and Beyond has dished out three studio albums, two remixes, and I'm not going to try to count the vast amount of singles under their belt. The point is, this group is dynamic. Over the years they have evolved their sound. For better or for worse is up to you to decide. Personally, I enjoy a groups evolution. Just like we change the music to fit out mood, so should the artist be allowed to do the same. Keeping to their roots, their core sound is always a challenge. Above and Beyond has done just that. The contrast between their work like Tri-State (2006 release) that
gently guides you into a trance of softly uplifting beats is worlds different from Acoustic (2013 release) to Group Therapy (2015 release), that hits a little harder with more progressions then the former, shows the trios musical talents. For some, this can be bitter sweet. I personally feel like it gives me a little something to choose from for each day of the week. Their music is inspiring, the perfect match for plowing though a mound of work on your desk to maxing and relaxing on a lazy Sunday.

Speaking of Sunday....In case you haven't heard they are headliners for Sunday at Euphoria Fest 2016 along with other great acts like Bassnector, Dillon Francis and STS9. A set by Above and Beyond is unique to that show, they seem to satisfy the crowds thirst for their latest and greatest while providing their more seasoned fans with earlier, classic works. I asked one of their long time fan (and friend of mine) to provide his ultimate playlist of Above and Beyond as if he was falling form the stratosphere. What would fill his ears during that time summed up in roughly five songs. I do say, I fell in love with OceanLab at first beat! At last, until I see you at Euphoria Fest on Sunday April 10th center stage for Above and Beyond, I leave you with this....
1)Above & Beyond presents Oceanlab- Sky Falls down
2)Above & Beyond presents Tranquility Base-Surrender
3)Above & Beyond- Anjunabeach
4)Above & Beyond- Thing Called Love
the last song before impact would be...
5)Above & Beyond-Alone Tonight
