A
lot of people heard of NoName through Chance the Rapper's ACID RAP.
I never got the memo, but her verse on
XVRHLDY - Black Alabaster (featuring Saba & NoName Gypsy)

just about killed me.
And
I would rewind and listen to her
flow over and over again. I needed more, so I rummaged through the interwebs till I finally found her music.

It's hard to come by out there.
On YouTube her fans have put a bunch of her tracks up and even made a playlist which helped me satisfy my appetite for a while.
Then
4th Shore HipHop finally
put out her EP on SoundCloud
She has throwback vibes, living in a city full of potholes and gun violence but turns it around and makes it sound beautiful to live in. Even with all the struggles of poverty and race, art from the underground and the marginalized will always shine through and find it's way to the eager ears of us, the people who won't stop caring and dreaming of better lives and ways to fix these problems that hurt us.
She's suppose to release new music in June, and my anticipation grows as the days slowly go by.
I'll leave you all with this
-Sam
