Lonely Horse sounds like the perfect band name coming out of a place like San Antonio,Texas. More then a name though, this two piece has been putting out music for some time now. Dragging me along the way until finally putting out Desert Sons, quenching

I don't know if just coming off watching the Hateful Eight is influencing my judgement or writing but this is more then just bluesy-rocky-soul-psychedelic music. It's driving through mountains, long dusty road trips , hot windy days, rainy nights, humid summers type of music.
It's the type of stuff where you let the smoke slowly stream out your lips and cloud your eyes and you stay stuck there, listening and thinking.

I highly recommend trying to catch them live, they just came off a small hiatus so your chance is now. They play shows all across Texas for us, so show some support and go to one.
