oh DILLY DALLY, my DILLY DALLY

You always regret not going to a show. Well in my mind, I always regret it, and the fear of missing out on new bands and amazing sets always linger with me, slowly picking at my brain.

It was around August that I wanted to catch a show with Speedy Ortiz, Metz and Big Ups but I wasn't strong enough and my anxiety got the best of me and I couldn't go outside that day.
 Months later as I kept on getting into Dilly Dally, my brain kept on bringing me back on missing that show, I found out Dilly Dally took over for Speedy Ortiz and played the Austin show I didn't go to.

 So when I find myself lost in their debut album SORE I just kick myself over and over and over again cause I missed this band.

The silver lining is that I might not appreciate them as much as I will when I do get to see them live.  But I know I would have been blown away by their set, by the vocals, by the energy they would have spit out, cause that's what I get when I listen to their music.  

I won't bore you about who I think they sound like, or where they're from, or how diverse the band is. I will leave you with one of my favorite songs on the album though.
