Out of Chicago these longtime collaborators hit it right, setting up the moon
for the new year,
fresh for all of us.

Making things not so boring just in time 

for post holiday and winter blues.

I honestly missed the pairing and
feared they wouldn't team up again, fear of being connected to Hurt Everybody in a negative way was in the back of my mind when it took forever for them to release a project together.  

But I'm glad they're embracing their friendship and finally released this wavy ass piece of work.

::long side note::

This is my second time I get to write about Space Jam and music.

I find it crazy/beautiful that 

Qari and Mulatto's Space Jam and Sledding with Tigers' Come On And Slam can both be heavy in my rotation.

Two separate and apart 

musical entities, 

 across the country 

and entirely different genres 

 finding common bonds of my favorite childhood 90's movie. 

After 20 years and SPACE JAM still bringing me joy.
