Spillage Village have released other works in the BEAR series but
Bears Like This Too Much
lays out all the best parts of Spill Vill, and rolls it up nice and tight
for your journey into their world.
for your journey into their world.
From the intro to the end, it smokes all the way through without skipping a mood.
Some of the best hip/hop I've heard coming out of ATL since my infatuation with OUTKAST, these guys have kept me on my toes for a couple years now. And when I first started
listening to them I was totally confused of who was who and what was what but it wasn't until this last release that I finally sought out the answers of SPILLAGE VILLAGE.
Spillage Village is a collective that consist of
and
HollyWood JB
HollyWood JB
All good within their own right but the team ups they create are mind altering to me, everything seems so organic,
not beaten and mashed up to create something just to be put out.
Even with all them coming together they still infused
J.Cole
Mac Miller
ChildishMajor
Quentin Miller
and made some of my favorite songs off their newest release, finding myself pressing the repeat button one too many times.
They've been around for a while now but this truly seems like a coming out party for them all, finding the sturdy ground of lifting each other up as they climb together to the top of the heap.
Stand out songs for me are
(but in reality I play the whole thing through)
Voodoo (prod. by J.Cole + Childish Major
NEW VID FOR VOODOO!
M.O.M. feat. Quentin Miller (prod. by Zeon)
and Rounds feat. Hardo
this has one of the catchiest intros I've heard in a while.
I also
added J.I.D.'s newest vid from his breakout album THE NEVER STORY
cause you all need to see it.
